Rental Agreement & Terms of Service

1. Introduction
Welcome to Borrow a Box. By choosing our reusable moving box rental service, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Borrow a Box's relationship with you in relation to this website and the rental service.

2. Rental Period & Equipment
The rental period begins on the date of delivery and ends on the date of scheduled pickup. All equipment, including industrial-strength plastic totes, dollies, and packing supplies, remain the sole property of Borrow a Box. Customers are responsible for the equipment from the time of delivery until it is collected by our team.

3. Delivery & Pickup
Delivery and pickup are included in our standard packages within our designated service areas. We require someone over the age of 18 to be present to sign for the delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the boxes are empty, clean, and stacked in an accessible location for the scheduled pickup date.

4. Care & Condition
The customer agrees to use the rental equipment for its intended purpose and to treat it with care. Labels provided by Borrow a Box may be used on the boxes. Please do not use duct tape or other high-tack adhesives directly on the plastic totes as this can damage the surface.

5. Damaged or Lost Items
In the event that any rental equipment is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the customer will be charged a replacement fee. Replacement costs are as follows: $25 per large tote, $15 per medium tote, and $75 per moving dolly.

6. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellations or changes to your order must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to a restocking fee of $25.

7. Liability
Borrow a Box is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused by the use or misuse of our rental equipment. This includes injury to persons or damage to property during the packing, moving, or unpacking process.

8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State.

By completing your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
